Critical Incident Questionnaire Score
What is the CIQ?
CIQ stand for Critical Incident Questionnaire and is an on - line competency appreciation tool which explores a candidate's past behavior on a number of competencies. The candidate is asked to reflect on his/her past behavior on a competency and then to provide evidence of his/her behavior with respect to the competency. In this process of reflection, the candidate is required to answer a range of questions pertaining to a competency, ensuring that the competency is thoroughly explored.
We, at EQ - IQ Consulting gather this information from the candidate, collate it into a Competency Protocol, and then forward it to you the client for your evaluation. We do not evaluate the candidate's protocol, because you the client are the subject matter expert and should know what your expectation is of the candidate with respect to a competency.
This website provides you with a formal system for evaluating the candidate's responses. You can learn how to do this on the "CIQ Score" page. Formal scoring using this website is not a requirement and you may prefer to simply gain an impression of the candidate's competency by reading through his/her Competency Protocol.
